I have a yellow naped amazon who is looking for a good home since her owner (my daughter) is moving to North Carolina and her apartment will not allow her to have any pets.

She is about 25yrs old (not sure) and enjoys female companionship only. She does not do well with other birds and no small children at all. She enjoys to eat A LOT and will eat just about anything as any typical amazon will! She talks, laughs, imitates animals and enjoys going outside when it rains to shower up...!

I cannot keep her as she just tolerates me (I am the one with the food after all!) and I have a VERY jealous cockatoo who will not stand for anything and will attempt to attack her if he is out.

This bird will do best with someone who is comfortable with Amazon temperments and who are experienced with parrots. She is not recommended as a breeder as in her previous home she was housed with a male amazon and 2xs tried to severely injure him.
