Lafitte was originally rescued based on an urgent e-mail. Poor Lafitte was so weak he could not support his weight. His sweet disposition and deep brown eyes won the heart of someone so he was rescued. At first he would not eat and he was so emaciated. But now he loves to eat, play in his water bowl and spend time with his someone who loves him! He is house trained and knows how to tell you when he needs to go out. His favorite activity is to sit right next to you or to sleep at your feet He gets along with all dogs, no matter size, gender or demeanor. He has not had obedience training so he does not walk well on a leash, but he loves to get out and to socialize so with a bit of training he will master the leash skills. My favorite thing about him is his deep soulful eyes; he loves his face rubbed and ears stroked! He loves to watch anyone cooking (lays on the floor with those eyes looking up) and loves to lay his head across your lap while watching TV. He is truly a gem!
